Competitive – Artistic and Rhythmic

At Kanata, we are very proud of our Competitive Program.  We have a reputation for being a club that inspires its athletes to achieve their personal best while looking out for the physical and mental well-being of the gymnast.

Leduc Kanata Gymnastics’ Competitive Program is open to female gymnasts from 5 years and up.  Athletes are invited to try out for the Competitive program.  Coaches are looking for dedication, strength, flexibility, and sportsmanship. Training sessions focus on specific skills and routine composition requirements in order for the gymnasts to compete at the Provincial Levels.

Competitive Gymnastics not only involves the commitment of the gymnast, but it also includes the family.  While gymnasts will be busy learning new skills to achieve their ultimate goal of attending meets, parents play an important role behind the scenes.  As parents, you should expect the support of fully qualified, professional coaches and administrative staff to support you and your athlete.  At Kanata, you will find this along with quality programs incorporating fun, safety, socialization and challenges.
